Bad Movies That I Love: Idle Hands
July 12th 2009 04:01
This is the last of a 10 part series
Its a shame that more people didn't see Idle Hands when it was released in 1999 because it teaches a very important societal lesson.
The important lesson?
Be sure to alternate hands when you smoke pot and masturbate because the Devil loves to take over idle hands from lazy dopers like Anton (played incredibly well BTW by Devon Sawa)
Anton's life of hanging out, doing drugs, and lusting after neighbor Jessica Alba has become complicated because of one small problem, his right hand has gone on a killing spree.
After waking up to find that he has killed his parent's Anton decides to cut off the demon hand which of course winds up making the killings pile up even more. It's then up to Anton along with a ragtag gang made up of stoner friends Mick and Pnub( Seth Green and Eldon Henson), headbanger Randy (Jack Noseworthy from Dead at 21 fame), and Vivica Fox as a hot demon hunter.
The movie is hilariously gory and has a killer soundtrack like all horror films should have.
The Offspring, one of the best bands ever, makes a cameo at the school dance. Just another good reason to check out this cult classic.
