Brown 48 Coakley 47

January 10th 2010 03:53
In what would be a major upset, Republican Scott Brown is leading Martha Coakley in the special Massachusetts election to replace Ted Kennedy.

This would effectively derail health care reform because the Republicans could filibuster any conference report.

I don't see it happening but anything is possible.

I'll make a promise to the voters of Mass. if they can pull off this upset, I'll spend one of my vacation weeks to help them celebrate the rebirth of individual liberty in the state that founded it.
