The New York Times has a story on their website explaining how a quick hookup with a laptop, a XBox, and a doughnut shaped mouse called The Loop can put you on the quick track to living cable free. What was thought to be coming ten years down the road is possible now with online services like iTunes, Netflix, Hulu, Joost, and Boxee.
With as little as 500 dollars to start you could well be on your way to saving the high cost of cable and dish charges each month.
