Complete List Of Sam's and Wal-mart Closings

You know the economy must be bad when Wal-Mart or Sam's is having to close stores. I can't recall ever hearing of a Wal-mart store closing before. Unfortunately 1,500 people will soon be headed to the back of the growing unenployment line.

Here is a list of Sam's club store closings:

-La Quinta, CA
-Vista, CA
-Irvine, CA
-Sacramento, CA
-Nampa, IN
-Louisville, CO
-Rolling Meadows, IL
-Clay, NY
-Houston, TX
-Phoenix, AZ

Sam's Club head Brian Cornell has said that the company is not just closing Sam's Club locations. In fiscal 2011, the company plans to add five to 10 new, expanded or relocated stores. It also plans to renovate 60 to 80 Sam's Club stores
