Missing Link Found?

May 19th 2009 20:53
[
Scientists]Really Long Link are heralding a 47 million year old "lemur monkey" as being the missing link [/LINK]that could connect humans to monkeys. Since the Human Genome Project decoded our DNA, the percentage of likeness between chimps and humans has fluctuated between 95 and 98 percent. Many are already calling Ida, as the female miracle is being called, the 8th Wonder Of The World. We have definitely come a long way since Gregor Mendel wanted to make bigger and better pea pods. Charles Darwin call your office please.

According to the news, this creature is a 'she' and it's only ten months old, when she met her death! Poor creature...

i love science, we are slowly putting together the pieces of a really big puzzle . . . human existence is just a blip on the map, but these kind of discoveries make me think our species is nearing unlocking a new level of the game
