As of January the 5th these were the numbers of discontinued GM brands still left on car lots.
Pontiac -796
Saturn -916
Saab- 1,235
Hummer - 2,176
The Pontiac and Saturn brands are probably gone forever, but GM still hopes to sell Saab in the near future. Hummer was sold this past fall to a Chinese heavy machinery company named Tengzhong.
Any cars left after this week will probably be sold to car rental companies. I would suggest checking at the lots in the next few days, there may still be a chance to get a good deal.
