So what would make Senator's work up to the wee hours on Christmas Eve and to offer billion's in bribes to get sixty votes to pass a health bill that doesn't go into effect for four years?
There are three possible reasons and all point to passing this train wreck as soon as possible.
1) The polls all show that the more the public learns about this bill and the fines and rax increases the more they oppose it.
2) Congress remembers the last time they went home on break and faced the voters in town halls. They would rather spend Christmas in D.C than their "real" homes.
3) This may be the most important reason they are working around the clock. Somewhere a teleprompter sits and waits for any sign of positive news for President Obama to trumpet in his first State Of The Union speech.
The bill will undoubtably pass with billions more of taxpayers dollars and more of our individual liberties limited by a power hungry congress. November is a long time away, I just hope the anger at what has occurred will last until the voting starts.
