Taxpayers Foot The Bill For 1/3 Of Cars Sold
November 17th 2009 14:47
A new study has concluded that American taxpayers are paying over 10,700 for each car sold by GM and Chrysler. The scary thing is after all of the billions in bailouts and incentives is that they are still losing money. Why are American cars inferior to foreign made vehicles? Because of the outrageous union contracts (some workers get paid to sit and read papers all day long) it costs much more per vehicle to produce American cars. Why didn't the congress and the Obama adminstration simply let the auto companies file bankruptcy? Its simple, they have to protect the unions it is a large portion of their contributions. How is that hope and change working out for you?
