The DMV: A No Smiling Zone

"OK now frown for the picture" may be the words you hear the next time you have your picture taken for your driver's license. Arkansas, Indiana, Nevada, and Virginia have adopted a no smiling policy to help cut down on license fraud. Newer technology aids in comparing photos of different licenses and may cut down on identity thefts was the reason given for the new policy. The technology works best when there are no facial expressions in the photos.
