The Perfect Game: The 1957 Monterrey Industrials

The Perfect Game is finally coming to theaters this month. I've been following the release delays for this film for what seems like forever.
It is a heartwarming story of friendship, of faith, of realizing dreams, and overcoming predjudice. It is also has the added benefit of being an incredible true story.
The story follows the improbable success of a group of nine Mexican Little Leaguers and their magical journey to America to compete in the Little League World Series.
To help them attain their goal of facing some of America's best teams is a bitter drunk former Major Leaguer named Cesar, who was chased away from the game by racism (played by Clifton Collins Jr.) and the local baseball loving padre (by the gifted Cheech Marin).
The rag-tag team is anchored by their ambidextrous pitcher, Angel Macias, played by Wizards of Waverly Place's Jake Austin.
The film is directed by William Dear, who is no stranger to baseball films, directing 1994's Angels In The Outfield and The Sandlot 3.
I've not seen a lot of press or a single trailer promoting this film on TV so it would be wise to see it during the opening weekend.
