Toyota Cover Up: A Conspiracy Of Millions?
March 11th 2010 23:01
Even with the recent congressional hearings and media reports Toyota's sales rose an amazing 47 percent over the same time last year. Who are these people buying these cars, don't they listen to what the democratic congress and the media is telling them?
I've been skeptical all along of the claims of sudden accelaration problems in Toyotas. Millions have bought Toyotas and their cars have always been near the top in customer satisfaction. General Motors and Audi both faced class action lawsuits based on similar problems and neither claim was ever proven.
The reason that Congress is so interested is that it is a win-win for the Democrats. Two of their biggest contributers are unions, like the UAW, and trial lawyers.
Attorney and pundit Theordore Franks seems to agree with his op-ed "I'm Not Afraid Of My Toyota Prius" in today's Washington Examiner.
I think I'll believe the millions of people who keep buying a well made car over an elected public official wanting to add to their re-election fund.
