World Record: Bikini Parade and Thriller Dance
May 17th 2009 01:03
I love to peruse the Guiness World Records book, always cooking up crazy scenarios of how I might enter my own name to that Gospel Of Offbeat Accomplishments.
Two more additions created headlines this week, and unfortunately I was not invited to participate in either record.
The first occurred at one of America's oldest learning institutions. 242 students at William and Mary college, in Williamsburg, VA, danced to Michael Jackson's Thriller and demolished the old record set last year of 147 dancers in Britain.
The second would occur yesterday in Las Vegas. 300 bikini clad women participated in the World's Largest Bikini Parade" The parade was used to promote the 50th anniversary of the famous "Welcome To Las Vegas" sign.
I know I have many more than 300 readers here. Can you help ease my pain and help me coordinate either a Thriller dance or a bikini parade? Thanks in advance for your help.
