Yawn, MTV Shows Its Ass..Again

The big shocking moment at the MTV Music Awards was Sasha Cohen, in full Bruno mode, falling on rapper Eminem and once again showing his ass to the world. The easily manipulated were out in force on the message boards proclaiming MTV as the master of shocking moments. Do they really think that all of these moments aren't scripted? The suits in the top floor at Viacom are laughing all the way to the bank. It's the same as a record company promoting the social deviants in rock bands. They sit back and watch as these bands are promoting themselves as anti-establishment while they are putting millions into the bank.

In my opinion MTV hasn't been socially relevant for years, and a once a year "shocking" award show won't return them to the stature they enjoyed in the 80s
